Senior Learning & Development Project Officer

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is looking for a Senior Learning & Development Project Officer to design, develop and deliver high‑quality learning solutions. This 12‑month fixed‑term position will be based on‑site in Canberra or Melbourne and will support workforce capability through modern instructional practices and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging learning solutions for adult learners using contemporary instructional design methodologies.
• Plan, coordinate and facilitate face‑to‑face, virtual and e‑learning training programs.
• Create training materials, learner guides, facilitator resources and supporting documentation.
• Manage L&D activities including scheduling, stakeholder engagement, reporting and quality assurance.
• Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve programmes through data analysis and participant feedback.
• Maintain learning records and reporting via the Learning Management System.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, vendors and service providers to identify learning needs.
• Support organisational change initiatives through training, communication and user‑adoption activities.
• Contribute to project planning, governance and reporting as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, developing and delivering L&D programmes for adult learners in complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory and evaluation methodologies.
• Experience creating blended learning solutions (classroom, virtual, e‑learning).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management skills.
• Highly developed organisational abilities to manage competing priorities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and evidence‑based learning practices.
