Senior Lead Planner

About the role

The Senior Lead Planner will own and continuously improve materials and production planning processes to ensure strong on‑time delivery and healthy inventory performance for a global leader in cancer diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Execute integrated materials and production planning across the factory, translating demand signals into practical plans that balance service, capacity, lead times and inventory objectives.
• Identify supply continuity risks early and collaborate with operations, procurement and supply‑chain stakeholders to protect delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate planning‑related master data in SAP, including material master, MRP views, safety stock, lot sizes and reorder points.
• Simplify replenishment processes by improving planning parameters, supplier lead times and exception management.
• Support inventory reduction initiatives using ABC and Pareto analysis while sharing planning expertise across functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Multiple years of experience in materials, production or supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving customer delivery performance, inventory performance or working‑capital outcomes through planning process improvements.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on SAP ERP capability (SAP MM and PP modules, master data, MRP views, planning parameters).
• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Analytical techniques such as ABC analysis, Pareto analysis and service‑risk‑based planning.
