Service Technician – Domestic Appliances

About the role

Miele is seeking a passionate, customer‑focused Service Technician to join its Melbourne team on a permanent full‑time basis. You will be the face of the brand, travelling to customers’ homes with a fully equipped company van to diagnose and repair premium domestic appliances.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality repairs and fault diagnosis on Miele domestic appliances in customers’ homes and occasionally in the workshop.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professional communication and service excellence.
• Manage allocated jobs to achieve strong first‑time‑fix results and minimise downtime.
• Complete service documentation, invoices and payment processing accurately and on time.
• Maintain van stock, tools and company equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Resolve customer concerns in the field and escalate technical issues when required.

Required profile

• Minimum disconnect/reconnect electrical licence.
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritise workloads.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems.

Required skills

• Electrical licence (minimum disconnect/reconnect).
• Gas licence (optional but desirable).
• Refrigeration licence (optional but desirable).
