Senior iOS Software Engineer – Mobile Apps

About the role

We are seeking a senior software engineer with native iOS experience to join our Sydney team. You will help develop and maintain mobile applications that control Harman Lifestyle’s networked audio players.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and implement new features.
• Architect and re‑architect codebases and projects.
• Perform development testing and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with local and remote teams in Japan, the UK and the US.
• Provide technical feedback, conduct code reviews and research APIs, tools and new features.
• Manage sprint tasks using version‑control tools.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Swift and Objective‑C.
• Proficiency in SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Good understanding of Xcode, software design principles and version‑control (Git).
• Experience with third‑party libraries, web service APIs and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, self‑motivation and leadership ambition.
• Full working rights in Australia.
