Senior Investigator Payment Associate

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Senior Investigator Payment Associate you will manage and process investigator payments for clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end process of investigator payments, including verification, processing and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with clinical trial teams and finance departments to ensure timely payments in line with study agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed financial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Investigate and resolve payment‑related issues or discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Provide support and guidance to investigators and stakeholders regarding payment procedures, timelines and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; relevant certifications or experience in clinical trial payments are advantageous.
• Extensive experience in financial management or payment processing, preferably within clinical research or healthcare.
• Proven ability to manage complex payment processes with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve payment issues effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
