Senior Interior Designer – Lead Commercial Projects

About the role

Join an established national design practice as a Senior Interior Designer in Adelaide. You will stay hands‑on while stepping into formal team leadership, guiding junior designers and delivering high‑quality commercial interior projects from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial interior projects across the full lifecycle, including concept development, space planning, documentation and delivery.
• Manage client relationships, conduct presentations, workshops and design discussions.
• Coordinate consultants, stakeholders and project programmes, ensuring design and technical quality.
• Mentor and support junior and intermediate designers, providing day‑to‑day guidance.
• Contribute to studio leadership with design direction and project oversight.

Required profile

• 7+ years of commercial interior design experience, with a total of 10+ years in the field.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept through delivery and to manage client and consultant relationships.
• Collaborative, approachable leadership style with confidence to make decisions and guide a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Revit capability for design development and documentation.
• AutoCAD experience for technical drawing production.
