Senior Instock Manager – APAC Supply Chain

About the role

Amazon is launching a new Instock management function in Sydney and needs a self‑starter to shape buying strategy and product flow for a fast‑growing business. You will own the end‑to‑end inventory strategy across multiple categories, balancing high customer availability, product quality and financial guardrails.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end Instock strategy, designing buying approaches and product‑flow processes that meet availability, quality and financial targets.
• Partner with Category, Vendor Management, Operations, Finance, Product and Technology teams to identify root causes and deliver cross‑functional solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and build internal tools for forecasting, buying, placement and inventory health.
• Analyze inventory trends and demand signals to optimise stock levels, reduce waste and improve order‑fulfilment efficiency.
• Coach and develop team members, setting clear goals and fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Proven experience communicating results to senior leadership and leading process improvement, systems development or project management.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and build high‑performance cross‑functional teams (preferred).
