Senior Human Resource Manager - Sydney

About the role

The Senior Human Capital Manager for Australia will lead HR business partnering and employee relations across Oliver Wyman’s Australian offices, driving a high‑quality people experience through data, digital tools and AI‑enabled insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end HR processes from onboarding to exit, ensuring compliance, efficiency and a consistent employee experience.
• Act as the primary HR business partner for market leaders, providing advice on talent attraction, retention, rewards and workplace culture.
• Lead and develop the HC Operations team, driving automation, AI adoption and process improvement.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations and compliance audits, escalating complex risks as needed.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of HR experience in a large, globally matrixed organization operating across APAC.
• Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• In‑depth knowledge of Australian labour regulations.

Required skills

• Workday (HRIS) experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
