Senior HR Advisor

About the role

This varied generalist HR role operates on a drive‑in, drive‑out 4:3/4:3 roster and offers the chance to work closely with site management on HR improvement and capability projects within the mining sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and support to line management across a broad range of employee matters.
• Manage generalist HR casework, including performance management, employee relations, grievances and basic disciplinaries.
• Review, develop and improve HR processes, procedures and ways of working.
• Develop and facilitate training and development initiatives to strengthen line‑management capability and soft skills.
• Analyse workforce data, prepare reports and identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Contribute to broader HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Strong HR generalist experience with exposure to case management.
• Experience developing or improving HR processes, procedures and systems.
• Confidence developing and facilitating training or capability initiatives for line management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR data and producing meaningful reports.
• Clear, confident communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices and Australian employment legislation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (highly regarded).
