Senior Graphic Designer

About the role

Bed Bath N' Table, an Australian-owned homewares retailer with over 180 stores nationwide and key locations in New Zealand and Singapore, is looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead its Graphic Design team. The role drives creative excellence across multi-channel marketing, brand campaigns, packaging and digital experiences, combining hands-on design with people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Graphic Designers
• Provide art direction and creative leadership across brand campaigns
• Create high-quality visual content for digital, print and retail environments
• Manage design projects from concept through to finished artwork
• Design and develop packaging across multiple product categories
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Visual Merchandising and Creative teams
• Manage external supplier and print production relationships
• Review and approve creative work to ensure brand consistency and quality
• Identify opportunities to use generative AI and emerging creative technologies responsibly
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard

Required profile

• Graphic Design qualification or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in a similar senior design role
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring design teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment

Required skills

• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Digital design across web, eDM, social media and online advertising
• Print production and finished art expertise
• Packaging design from concept through to production
• Experience with AI image generation
