About the role

Flywire is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join its billing and payments team in Australia. You will help design, build, and enhance core functionality that moves hundreds of millions of dollars daily for global clients across education, healthcare, travel, and B2B sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, testable code for the billing and payments platform.
• Leverage AI tools to analyze codebases, answer architectural questions, and accelerate system understanding.
• Ensure security, quality, scalability, and performance are never compromised for speed.
• Use diagnostic tools to quickly resolve issues and answer technical queries.
• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders across multiple regions.

• Proven experience as a senior software engineer working on large‑scale, high‑value payment systems.
