Senior Full Stack Engineer – FinTech

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑funded fintech start‑up to deliver a suite of greenfield products that reshape how customers interact with financial services. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will own the design, development and deployment of scalable software across the entire platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full‑stack applications using Node.js and React.
• Create secure, high‑performance REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop modern, responsive front‑ends with TypeScript, Astro and Web Components.
• Design and optimise relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs, including Open Banking and brokerage services.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams from concept to production.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience building full‑stack applications with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in React and solid backend development with Node.js.
• Proven ability to design and implement REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CodeBuild) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for building scalable, secure, high‑quality software and taking ownership of projects.
