Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI Native

About the role

Rex Software is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its AI‑native engineering model. You will work across frontend and backend, delivering production‑grade features while using AI coding agents as a core part of your workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and ship features across the full stack, providing architectural context to AI agents.
• Critically review AI‑generated code for correctness, performance, security and maintainability before it reaches production.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews and automated test coverage.
• Develop prompts, context documents and system instructions to help AI agents understand Rex’s architecture and patterns.
• Mentor teammates, share prompting strategies and help uplift AI‑native development across the engineering team.

Required profile

• Strong commercial software engineering experience at a senior level, delivering across both frontend and backend.
• Hands‑on experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Cody, Aider) in real development workflows.
• Ability to assess AI‑generated code for performance, security, edge cases and architectural fit.
• Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills across the entire technology stack.
