Senior Full Stack Developer - Tax and Legal Digital

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for its Tax and Legal Digital team. The role helps Australian, not-for-profit and internal PwC clients create value and improve the way they work, from digitising workflows to building AI-enabled applications. It sits within the Technology line of service, which covers technology strategy and management.

Key responsibilities

• Build libraries and frameworks to support large, complex web applications.
• Design and implement new user-facing features for internal and external clients.
• Optimise web applications for speed and scale.
• Write client-side code for fast, high-volume production applications and innovative prototypes.
• Work closely with developers, data scientists and business analysts to deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

Required profile

• Background in end-to-end software delivery, with expertise in modern web technologies.
• Experience with web server optimisation and the web development stack.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps technologies.
• Willingness to learn new technologies quickly and to collaborate in an innovative environment.

Required skills

• Frontend: ReactJS, NextJS
• Backend: NodeJS, NestJS
• Databases: MongoDB, SQL
• Languages: object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Python
• Beneficial: GenAI experience and CI/CD automation
