Senior Full Stack Developer – React, Node.js & AWS

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack developer to design and deliver responsive, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript and modern AWS services. The role is based in Sydney and offers a permanent full‑time contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front‑end features with React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript and state management (Redux/Zustand).
• Build and maintain back‑end services using Node.js, REST APIs and serverless architecture on AWS.
• Design, provision and automate infrastructure with CloudFormation, AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Actions and ensure code quality with Jest/Vitest.
• Monitor application performance and reliability with CloudWatch and New Relic.
• Apply WCAG accessibility standards and work with design systems to achieve pixel‑perfect UI.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven experience with Node.js, REST APIs and micro‑services in AWS.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB and RDS.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and serverless frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab Actions) and testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest).
• Understanding of DevOps practices, monitoring and accessibility standards.
• Valid Australian work rights.
