Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Luxury Escapes is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to enhance the customer journey and boost conversion on its high‑traffic travel platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to ship impactful features and experiments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship high‑quality React and TypeScript features that improve the booking experience.
• Design and implement A/B tests and product experiments to drive data‑informed decisions.
• Continuously optimise frontend performance, reliability, accessibility, and user experience for millions of monthly sessions.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate with micro‑service architecture and third‑party travel APIs.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, and code quality standards.
• Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and maintaining large‑scale React applications in production.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with modern frontend development practices.
• Experience designing high‑performance, responsive user interfaces and improving accessibility.
• Ability to work closely with product managers and designers to deliver customer‑facing features.
