Senior Financial Analyst - Investment Analysis

About the role

A large, ASX-listed consumer business is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst - Investments through a recruitment partner. The role reports to the Finance Manager and evaluates and monitors major capital investments across digital and operational platforms. It suits someone with a corporate finance or M&A analysis background, with a 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong view to permanency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models and investment cases to support major strategic initiatives
• Evaluate the performance of approved investments and recommend ways to improve outcomes
• Partner with senior stakeholders to gather operational inputs and assess project viability
• Prepare presentations and insights for executive decision-making and investment approval
• Support capital forecasting, budgeting, reporting and broader commercial analysis

Required profile

• CA, CPA or CFA qualified with 6+ years of experience, ideally with a Big 4 advisory background
• Experience in corporate finance, transaction services, infrastructure, retail or investment analysis
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence senior leaders
