Senior Engineering Manager - CCM and eSigning

About the role

The Document Management Crew is modernising its technology estate with automation, AI and cloud technologies. As Senior Engineering Manager you will lead engineering across Customer Communication Management (CCM) and eSigning products, including OpenText Communications (Exstream) and Docusign, providing technical and people leadership and shaping the engineering strategy and technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop high-performing engineering teams across CCM and eSigning
• Shape and deliver the engineering strategy and technical roadmap
• Lead the modernisation of the technology estate, improving resilience, security, supportability and maintainability
• Champion engineering excellence through automation, DevSecOps, quality engineering, observability and full-cycle ownership
• Work closely with Product and Architecture to deliver secure, resilient and scalable solutions
• Strengthen production health and embed technology risk and security practices
• Build engineering capability through coaching, mentoring, recruitment and career development
• Explore AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in complex enterprise technology environments
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder leadership skills
• Track record of coaching engineers and building inclusive, high-performing teams
• Experience modernising critical enterprise platforms
• Experience with CCM, eSigning, document generation or enterprise document technologies is highly regarded; OpenText Exstream or DocuSign experience is also highly regarded

Required skills

• Cloud, APIs, CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation and observability
• Ability to influence architecture, engineering strategy and technology decisions
