About the role
A recruiter is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for a large utility client's power station on the northern outskirts of Perth. The position is a 6-month contract. The engineer leads investigations into technical problems and recommends safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake engineering assignments covering project management, design services, conceptual technical proposals and cost estimates
- Lead the investigation of technical problems and recommend practical solutions
- Provide technical and project support to the gas turbines and distributed generation operating unit
Required profile
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role, ideally
- Recognised engineering qualification
- Available to commence immediately
- Legally entitled to work in Australia and currently residing in Perth
Required skills
- Good understanding of generators, transformers and circuit breakers
- Experience in power generation and gas turbines, ideally
