Senior Electrical Designer 3D

About the role

ECG Engineering is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to strengthen its 3D design capability, primarily using MicroStation, for mineral processing projects in Australia and globally. The role is based in Perth and will support both local and international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings, including layouts, process flow diagrams, schematics, terminations, and single line drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with client requirements, industry standards, and Australian regulations.
• Collaborate with the Perth design team, provide support to the Toronto office, and coordinate services from Manila.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical engineering diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a specialized electrical team on greenfield and brownfield projects with complex electrical scopes.
• Solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principles for large operational assets.
