Senior Earthworks Supervisor - Goldfields (2:1 Roster)

About the role

A major project is starting in the Goldfields and Westforce is looking for a Senior Earthworks Supervisor to lead from the front. You will work back-to-back with the Earthworks Superintendent, supported by a site management team and experienced supervisors. The roster is FIFO 2:1 (Kalgoorlie), full-time, with an initial project stint of approximately 13 months.

Key responsibilities

• Run the daily operations for bulk earthworks and road construction.
• Plan and coordinate daily tasks with the site management team.
• Lead operators, trades and subcontractors, keeping everyone on track and on target.
• Take ownership of safety, environmental and quality standards on the ground.
• Lead pre-starts and toolbox talks with clear, honest communication.
• Keep site records, safety logs and daily reports up to date.

Required profile

• At least 8 years' experience in site management.
• Minimum 2 years as a Senior Supervisor on civil, mining or infrastructure jobs.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and get the best out of a site crew.
• Current WA driver's licence and White Card.
• National police clearance (or able to obtain one).
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of civil processes, heavy plant and safety protocols.
• Experience leading crews and managing subcontractors.
