Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

A hands-on Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer is sought to own the full delivery lifecycle of a multi-tenant AI SaaS platform across AWS, Azure and GCP. The role covers day-to-day operations and strategic architectural contributions, on a 6-12 month contract based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Terragrunt-wrapped Terraform infrastructure as code for multi-customer cloud account provisioning
• Provision and maintain cloud resources such as EKS, AKS, RDS, Redis, ACR/ECR, KMS/Key Vault and workload identity
• Onboard new clusters end-to-end, from bootstrap scripts through ArgoCD app-of-apps patterns
• Maintain GitOps-driven Kubernetes workload delivery via ArgoCD and Helmfile, and author Helm chart overlays across environments
• Debug and remediate containerized workloads (Temporal, Authentik, kgateway, observability stacks)
• Build and maintain reusable GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows for Docker image builds, Terraform plan/apply gates and cross-repo deploys
• Contribute to product features by designing and implementing architectural improvements that meet resiliency, security and compatibility requirements

Required profile

• Experience with production-level Terraform and Terragrunt in multi-account, multi-cloud environments
• Multi-cloud experience across AWS, Azure and GCP
• Experience with observability tooling and modern SaaS platform operations

Required skills

• Kubernetes (EKS and AKS), including multi-cluster management, networking and workload troubleshooting
• ArgoCD, Helmfile and GitOps delivery patterns
• GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline authoring
• Familiarity with identity and secrets management (workload identity, KMS, Key Vault)
