Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement and continuously improve cloud platforms, infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and observability solutions. This senior technical specialist will work closely with Platform, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Product and Test teams to deliver secure, scalable and highly available solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable cloud platforms on AWS and/or GCP, including IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and optimise container platforms, such as Kubernetes, and develop reusable infrastructure modules.
• Create, optimise and automate CI/CD pipelines, deployment frameworks and self‑service platform capabilities.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting; support SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Lead production incident management, root‑cause analysis and continuous service improvement.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, architecture decisions and drive engineering excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering.
• Proven track record operating enterprise‑scale cloud environments and supporting high‑availability production systems.
• Experience leading cloud migration, platform transformation or modernisation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and mentoring abilities.
