Senior Creative (Freelance Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a highly versatile and imaginative Senior Creative to elevate our agency’s output in Sydney or Melbourne. The role focuses on conceptual development, leading top‑tier creative work and producing integrated campaigns across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to conceive original concepts for pitches, campaigns and RFPs, and lead brainstorming sessions.
• Oversee design and structure of client presentations, pitch decks and RFP documents, creating cutting‑edge templates and visuals.
• Produce polished presentation materials, infographics and key visuals using Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Apply social media insights to ensure concepts are platform‑appropriate and culturally on‑trend.
• Introduce AI‑based tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney and Sora to boost ideation and streamline processes.
• Mentor junior creatives and collaborate with account, strategy and production teams for integrated campaign delivery.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in a creative, art‑direction or design role, preferably within an agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating presentation design, conceptual strength and brand storytelling.
• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and defend ideas to clients.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
