Senior Consultant – External Audit

About the role

SW Accountants & Advisors is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its fast‑growing external audit team. You will own the full audit cycle from planning through to the management letter, mentor junior staff and contribute to internal and external training.

Key responsibilities

• Complete audit files for a diverse client base, from planning to finalisation, within budget and deadlines.
• Review and mentor junior staff, identify internal‑control weaknesses and document them in management letters.
• Prepare financial reports, disclosure checklists and non‑standard management letters.
• Collaborate with audit managers, clear review points and undertake special assignments as directed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of audit experience in a Chartered/CPA practice.
• Degree qualified and near to or fully qualified as a CA/CPA.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and build client relationships.
• Strong time‑management, professional presentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an audit package such as Inflo.
• Advanced Microsoft Office application skills.
