Senior Conference & Events Executive

About the role

Take your events career to the next level at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, a premier destination for conferences, sporting groups, corporate events and exclusive‑use experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of conferences, events, sporting groups and exclusive‑use events.
• Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders and coordinate requirements across clients and operational teams.
• Lead planning meetings, site inspections and pre‑event briefings.
• Maintain strong client communication throughout the event lifecycle.
• Manage event billing, payments, final invoicing, commissions and loyalty points.
• Maintain accurate event data and documentation using Delphi FDC.
• Work towards department KPIs including client satisfaction and event delivery standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in conference and events coordination with a positive can‑do attitude.
• Strong client service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisation, time‑management and attention to detail.
• Confidence working to KPIs and client‑satisfaction targets.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with event management systems, particularly Delphi FDC.
