About the role

Join Qantas Loyalty as a Senior Commercial Manager, Partnerships, leading the Hotels & Holidays portfolio. You will shape strategy, optimise margins and drive revenue growth across core external commercial partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end partnership execution – from strategy and negotiation to contracting, management and implementation.
• Lead strategic oversight, stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration across Hotels & Holidays streams.
• Develop and implement partnership frameworks, pipeline development, opportunity sizing and commercial constructs.
• Manage revenue and gross margin targets, budgets and forecasting for partnership portfolios.
• Drive new initiatives that open additional revenue streams and improve operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• 15+ years experience managing large‑scale, complex partnerships in aviation, travel, retail or similar spend categories.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics or equivalent; MBA or postgraduate qualifications valued.
• Strong external stakeholder management skills, including C‑suite engagement.
• Proven commercial acumen with strategic, financial and analytical expertise.
• Experience in Agile environments and leading high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Advanced analytical and data‑analysis capability.
• Expertise in partnership negotiation, contracting and deal structuring.
• Ability to design partnership frameworks, conduct competitor benchmarking and define success KPIs.
• Knowledge of customer loyalty fundamentals and partnership execution within loyalty programmes.
