Senior Cloud Architect

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join its Staff Augmentation team in Canberra. You will design, implement and support secure, scalable cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, working closely with enterprise architecture, project and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions on Azure and Microsoft 365, aligned with government standards.
• Provide technical leadership from architecture through implementation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into practical cloud designs and assess impacts on existing environments.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing and managing cloud systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, API Management).
• Proven ability to mentor technical team members and influence architectural outcomes.
• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.

• Experience with AWS or GCP (desirable)
