Senior Clinical Research Associate (Remote, Australia)

About the role

ICON is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate to work from home in Australia, overseeing clinical trial activities and ensuring compliance with protocols, regulations, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites for adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess performance, resolve issues, and support successful trial execution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, accurate data collection and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff and fellow CRAs to maintain high standards.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related discipline.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate with strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance.
• Clinical trial monitoring and site management.
• Proficiency with clinical trial software and tools.
