Senior Client‑Side Project Manager – Sydney

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Senior Project Manager to join a leading client‑side consultancy in Sydney. You will partner with corporate, institutional and private clients to deliver complex projects across education, industrial, retail and aged‑care sectors, overseeing the full project lifecycle from strategy to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through planning, design, procurement and delivery phases.
• Manage consultants across architecture, engineering and planning disciplines.
• Establish project scopes, budgets, programmes and governance frameworks.
• Run procurement processes and prepare tender documentation.
• Administer contracts and act as Superintendent.
• Coordinate design reviews and documentation.
• Provide early‑stage advisory input, shaping strategy and risk.
• Prepare client reports, PCG packs and stakeholder updates.

Required profile

• Extensive client‑side project management experience in education, industrial, retail or aged‑care sectors.
• Strong capability in design management and consultant coordination.
• Proven knowledge of procurement and contract administration under Australian AS forms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, programmes and governance processes.
• Confident communicator with a proactive, commercially aware mindset.
