Senior Civil Engineer (Mackay)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Mackay team. You will work on complex infrastructure projects that shape communities and support sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on civil engineering projects from concept through delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.
• Provide high‑quality engineering advice that informs decision‑making.
• Develop resilient and innovative solutions, applying advanced analytics and optimisation.
• Contribute to land‑development design and project delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified Engineer (BE) with RPEQ registration.
• Proven experience leading civil engineering design, preferably with land‑development exposure.
• Strong client‑facing abilities and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration within diverse teams.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
