Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development & Buildings

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects across land development and building works in Adelaide. You will work with a high‑performing team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical design and delivery of civil infrastructure, producing calculations, specifications, reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Austroads, DIT and Australian Standards, including stormwater management plans.
• Lead design outcomes, manage competing requirements and mentor junior engineers.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to proposals and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with 7+ years of experience.
• Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects in land development or building civil works, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a commitment to health, safety and quality.

Required skills
