Senior Civil Designer – Roads & Highways (SEQ)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to lead complex road and civil infrastructure projects across Southeast Queensland. You will guide design teams, drive 12d modelling on major Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects, and collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high‑quality, sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil and road design, including 12d modelling, for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Manage, mentor and develop small design teams to ensure high performance.
• Ensure all designs comply with Austroads, TMR standards and industry best practice.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to create innovative, high‑impact solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of civil design experience, specifically in roads and highways.
• Proven leadership experience managing small design teams.
• Strong technical expertise in 12d modelling for TMR projects.
• Australian citizenship.
