Senior Change Manager – Financial Crime Transformation

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead the people side of a major reform programme addressing Financial Crime and External Fraud risk in Australia. You will design, plan and deliver change activities that prepare teams, support adoption and sustain new ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end change strategies, plans and roadmaps for the transformation workstream.
• Assess organisational impacts, readiness and business requirements to ensure successful implementation.
• Identify, monitor and mitigate change risks, issues, dependencies and adoption barriers.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, sponsors and project teams to secure alignment and commitment.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, learning and business‑readiness activities.
• Drive behavioural change, adoption and embedding of new processes to achieve sustainable outcomes.
• Provide regular reporting on change progress, risks, issues and readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale change initiatives in a financial services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior business leaders.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior change practitioners.
