Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Superloop, a telco founded in 2014 and listed on the ASX, enables challenger retail brands to grow by delivering connectivity and services through its Infrastructure-on-Demand platform. Its Product unit guides every stage of the product lifecycle, and the Senior Business Analyst will lead analysis across complex transformational initiatives spanning multiple business units. The role works with business and technology stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, clarify scope, elicit and prioritise requirements, and turn complex needs into practical business, process, data and system outcomes. An initial priority is to document and map Neoloop's existing business processes and design scalable future-state processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for transformational projects across product, commercial, customer, process, data and technology workstreams.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and stream owners to define scope, outcomes, priorities, decision points and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and run discovery, requirements gathering, process design and decision-making workshops across business units.
• Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, including elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, prioritisation, traceability and change control.
• Translate strategic and commercial objectives into business, functional, non-functional, data, integration and reporting requirements.
• Develop current-state and target-state process models, customer journeys, capability maps, gap assessments and operating model impacts.
• Analyse product, pricing, contract, customer, network and system dependencies to support rationalisation and migration decisions.
• Define data mapping, interface requirements, reconciliation controls and transition rules for customer and system migrations.
• Maintain analysis artefacts and support solution design, test strategy, acceptance criteria, defect triage, cutover planning and business readiness.
• Assess change impacts, embed target-state processes and support the transition to business-as-usual ownership and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Information Technology or a related field; business analysis certification desirable.
• Typically 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, including leading analysis on complex transformation, integration or migration programs.
• Experience working with senior executives, product leaders, commercial and technology teams and cross-functional delivery stakeholders.
• Proven experience with product and service integration, customer migration, system rationalisation, data mapping and interface analysis.
• Experience turning commercial objectives, pricing or contractual considerations into implementable requirements.
• Experience supporting test planning, UAT, cutover and readiness activities.
• Ability to write high-quality executive papers, requirements specifications, process models and decision records.
• Telecommunications, product management, commercial transformation or merger integration experience highly desirable.

Required skills

• Requirements engineering, process modelling, gap analysis, business case development and benefits definition.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, data flows, controls and reporting.
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, critical thinking and written communication skills.
