Senior Business Analyst - Contract (AMI Scoping)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent need for a Senior Business Analyst on a 6-month contract in Perth, with possible extension. The role leads the development of the Business Requirements Document (BRD) for the AMI 2.0 Scoping Phase, under the direction of the DET Technology Lead and project manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of the BRD for the AMI 2.0 Scoping Phase, including improving the hierarchy of Use Cases, Capabilities, Outcomes and Benefits.
• Work on a prioritised subset of use cases and capabilities that have already been assessed by the business.

Required profile

• Previous experience preferred, or demonstrated understanding of all components of the AMI infrastructure (existing and potentially new or modified).
• Knowledge of the communications network, AMI meters including their communication hub, AMI data such as power quality, and AMI IT infrastructure such as the AMI head end.
• Australian or New Zealand citizens or PR holders only.

Required skills

• Focus on requirements rather than specific systems.
• Nice to have: experience with Itron AMI Head End, GE Power-on-Advantage, Itron Outage Detection System (ODS), Future Grid Compass and Qlik reports.
