Senior Bid & Growth Manager

About the role

A leading Australian infrastructure and construction group, recruiting through Enertia Talent, is looking for an experienced Senior Bid & Growth Manager to join its Commercial & Bids team. The business has a strong pipeline of major projects in energy, water and transport infrastructure and is expanding across those sectors. The role sits alongside senior leadership, estimating, engineering and project delivery teams, leading major bids from initial opportunity assessment through to tender submission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage major infrastructure bids across energy, renewables, water and transport sectors.
• Assess tender requirements, identify key deliverables and develop competitive bid strategies.
• Manage the end-to-end bid process, coordinating technical, commercial, estimating and operational teams.
• Establish bid programmes and ensure milestones, deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Identify commercial opportunities, project risks and competitive advantages to strengthen tender submissions.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop compelling proposals and keep the tender process moving.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing complex bids or leading tendering in major infrastructure or construction.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure projects in energy, water, transport, utilities or civil construction.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
• An engineering qualification is not essential; commercial, construction or broader infrastructure backgrounds are welcome.
