Senior Associate - External Auditor, Financial Services

About the role

PwC Australia is recruiting a Senior Associate to join its financial services practice. You will work with clients across the financial services sector, helping them navigate complex business challenges while improving their financial performance and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out external audits, financial statement assessments and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Analyse, identify and resolve complex business issues with effective strategies.
• Work in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
• Maintain integrity and ethical behaviour, and build trust with clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct comprehensive audit and statutory reporting processes for major proprietary and publicly listed entities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial audit strategies and methodologies tailored to client needs.
• Assess and detail internal controls and control environments.
• Guide and mentor junior team members and build strong internal relationships.
