Senior Architect – Lead Technical Development on Transport Infrastructure

About the role

Hassell is seeking an experienced Senior Architect or Associate to lead the technical development and delivery of a key architectural package on a major transport infrastructure project. You will guide a small team, work directly with contractors and consultants, and carry a strong design concept through design development, documentation and into construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and documentation of a complex, large‑scale building package.
• Coordinate consultants, engage with contractors, and ensure design quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and manage a small design team, making practical, well‑judged decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an architectural package on a complex, large‑scale project.
• Strong technical design ability with confidence reviewing documentation and details.
• Experience coordinating consultants and working directly with contractors.

• Revit proficiency.
