Senior API Developer – Java Spring Boot

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior API Developer with over 10 years of hands‑on Java and Spring Boot expertise to design, build, and maintain high‑performance RESTful APIs and microservices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement API security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Integrate internal applications with external systems and ensure data modelling and query optimisation for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, reusable code, perform unit and integration testing, and conduct performance tuning.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, and DevOps, and participate in code reviews and solution design.

Required profile

• 10+ years of Java application development experience, especially with Spring Boot.
• Strong background in REST API design, development, testing, and integration.
• Proven experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of API security, authentication, and authorisation.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
