Senior Analyst - Controls Assurance (Internal Audit)

About the role

Deloitte's Controls Assurance team advises some of Australia's largest businesses and organisations on their control environments and provides assurance on the frameworks stakeholders rely on. As a Senior Analyst in Controls Assurance in Perth, you will deliver internal audit engagements across sectors, drive controls assurance and advisory projects and help clients identify and manage their risks. The role involves client-facing work across a range of projects in multiple industries, mentoring junior team members and building relationships across the national team.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to make the complex simple
• Proven ability to plan and execute process risk and control projects, analyse results and devise targeted mitigation plans and supporting frameworks
• Strong understanding of business processes and controls, with an insights-driven approach to controls assessment
• Exposure to controls advisory and third-party controls assurance engagements
• Stakeholder management skills and ability to lead interactions with business stakeholders
• Thrives in a multi-disciplinary team and is a fast learner who shares knowledge and keeps up with emerging technologies and risks
• CIA or CA certification preferred but not mandatory; data analytics and information systems experience is a bonus
