Senior Advisor Contracts and Procurement

About the role

Veolia is looking for an experienced Senior Advisor to lead contracts and procurement for its water operations across New South Wales. Working closely with regional leaders, operational teams and technical specialists, you will design and implement procurement strategies that reduce risk, improve processes and deliver value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned with operational priorities and project needs.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement policies, processes and requirements.
• Analyse spend and market trends to identify savings and improvements.
• Manage supplier categories, relationships and performance, including contract reviews with legal and finance teams.
• Identify procurement risks and implement practical controls.
• Improve procurement guidelines, templates and processes, and monitor performance reporting.

Required profile

• Strong procurement experience across multiple categories, including minor capital works, spares, consumables and consulting services.
• Experience supporting operational, infrastructure or project environments in NSW.
• Commercial, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to water sites across NSW.
