About the role

ESV is seeking a senior accountant to join its fast‑growing business advisory team in Sydney CBD. The role offers a clear progression path, a collaborative culture and a balance between professional challenge and work‑life harmony.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical research and provide taxation and business advice to a diverse client portfolio.
• Manage compliance matters including payroll tax, land tax, fringe benefit tax, stamp duty and ASIC requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Respond to client inquiries, produce advisory reports and meet productivity, billing and KPI targets.

Required profile

• Minimum four years’ experience in a professional accounting practice, preferably in a Business Advisor role.
• Strong grasp of compliance matters and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Effective communication, ability to juggle multiple deadlines and work autonomously.
• Currently pursuing or near completion of CA certification.
