About the role
The boutique Chartered Accounting firm in Sydney’s CBD is expanding its Business Advisory team. Reporting to the Partner, you will deliver high‑quality advisory and compliance services for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns and financial statements for companies, individuals, partnerships, trusts and SMSFs.
- Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns and resolve complex issues such as Div7A, FBT, PSI and CGT.
- Assist with budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and CFO services for larger groups.
- Provide tax planning advice on small‑business concessions, effective structures, asset protection and tax minimisation.
- Mentor junior accountants.
Required profile
- Approximately 4+ years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm.
- CA/CPA qualified or currently studying.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with confidence engaging clients.
