Senior Accountant – Business Services Firm

About the role

Our client is a growing business services firm that values proactive advice and strong client relationships. They are seeking a Senior Accountant who takes pride in technical work, enjoys autonomy, and wants to grow with the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full financial accounts for a diverse portfolio of entities, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Handle BAS/IAS lodgements accurately and on schedule.
• Manage FBT returns and ensure compliance with disclosure requirements.
• Prepare SMSF financial statements and tax returns where required.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide advisory support to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a dedicated client portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with a small team, support junior staff, and share knowledge.
