Senior Accountant - Business Advisory Services

About the role

PKF Melbourne, a full-service accounting firm founded in 1962 and part of the global PKF network, is seeking several Senior Accountants for its Business Advisory Services team during a period of large growth. Working closely with Supervisors, Managers and Partners, you will deliver quality financial and business advisory services to a diverse client base while supporting the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and statements, and supporting schedules
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
• Assist with virtual CFO engagements and other advisory work as required
• Administer GST, including Business Activity Statements
• Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required
• Conduct studies and analysis of financial matters as required

Required profile

• 3-4 years' experience in public practice tax and business services
• CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use initiative, work autonomously and meet deadlines
• Passion for quality outcomes and strong client relationships
