Senior Account Manager - Social and Earned

About the role

Bursty is looking for a Senior Account Manager - Social and Earned to join its growing team in the Melbourne office. The agency recently ran a successful campaign and has worked with clients such as PUMA, Netflix, TEG Sport, Mitre 10 and Forty Winks. You will be the day-to-day point of contact for your clients, focusing on earned ideas, media relationships, influencer strategy and social thinking that delivers real business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute earned-first campaigns across influencers, social and PR platforms.
• Build and nurture strong media and influencer relationships to secure top-tier coverage and partnerships.
• Oversee day-to-day client relationships, giving strategic counsel and proactive thinking.
• Own client account planning, budget management and reporting.
• Monitor industry trends and apply insights to earned content strategies and media approaches.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, pushing for bold, culturally relevant work.

Required profile

• 4-5+ years in social, PR or communications roles, ideally in an agency environment.
• Proven success delivering social-first and earned-led campaigns that generate buzz and measurable results.
• Strong media and influencer networks with a track record of coverage in key outlets.
• Experience managing multiple accounts, deliverables and budgets.
• Confident client leadership and excellent presentation skills.
