Senior Account Manager – Mining (Brisbane)

About the role

The company, a global leader in mining products and technical solutions, is expanding its presence across Australia and New Zealand. They are seeking a senior professional to manage Tier‑1 mining accounts on the East Coast and in New Zealand, drive commercial growth, and support a small team of account managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase revenue across Australia and New Zealand.
• Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships and diversification strategies.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with mine‑site stakeholders, metallurgists, procurement teams and consultants.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure high customer satisfaction and long‑term retention.
• Coach, mentor and guide a small team of Account Managers, fostering a collaborative, customer‑focused culture.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and global support teams to deliver value‑added solutions and support optimisation projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry.
• Proven track record in key account management and business development.
• Strong understanding of mineral processing and metallurgy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior mine‑site stakeholders.
