Senior Account Manager – Google Customer Solutions

About the role

Google is seeking a Senior Account Manager for its Customer Solutions team in Australia. You will lead high‑performing account teams, use consultative sales techniques, and partner directly with advertisers and agencies to deliver measurable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Engage senior client stakeholders in strategic meetings to uncover marketing goals and KPIs, translating them into actionable campaign strategies.
• Drive exceptional campaign results, quantify business impact, and demonstrate value while maintaining account hygiene.
• Build and pitch data‑driven advertising solutions, handle objections, and achieve sales growth targets.
• Analyze campaign performance data, ensure accurate tracking, and deliver results aligned with customer objectives.
• Identify upsell opportunities from performance insights to grow the customer pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting.
• Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a business‑related field.
• 3 years managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns.
• 2 years project‑management experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
• 1 year of leadership experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Ads and Google’s advertising solutions.
• Strong data‑driven analysis and reporting capabilities.
