Security Site Lead - Data Centre

About the role

MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is seeking a Security Site Lead to oversee the daily operations of security services at a data centre in Melbourne. The position requires a Positive Vetting clearance, and a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year is offered to successful applicants who hold or obtain it.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor a team of up to 15 security officers, managing their performance, attendance and presentation.
• Oversee daily security operations so that site procedures and client requirements are met.
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox briefings to ensure officers keep their licences and training up to date.
• Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies, with proper escalation and documentation.
• Manage shift drops and site coverage.
• Build and maintain client relationships and respond promptly to service requests.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a security team leader, supervisory or managerial role.
• Data centre experience is highly regarded.
• Australian citizenship.
• Positive Vetting clearance, or willingness to obtain it (sponsorship available).
• Valid Victorian Security Licence (Master Licence Number: 409-987-30).
• Ability to supply background information such as referees, past addresses, overseas travel and education.
